Program outline

1. Your first step

  • Complete Goal Setter Questionnaire: Describe the position you desire and your objectives for the program
  • Complete Kolbe A Index online: This highly reliable tool measures your natural instincts.
  • Watch the explanation of your Kolbe A Index results on line:  Learn how to play to your strengths and find jobs that are the right fit.
  • Send your resume to Gary Hankins: He will review it and show you how to make it shine. 

2. Web conference (one hour in person or via web conference)

  • Discuss your experience, job interests and goals for the program
  • Interpret Kolbe A Index results: Now that you know your strenths, you will be prepared to find the right job and make important life choices.
  • Benchmark mock interview: 3-5 minutes of video recorded interview
  • Assignment: Review the following DVD Chapters (approximately 45 minutes)

      • Get Psyched Up, Not Psyched Out
      • The Laws of Nonverbal Attraction
      • The Power of Packaging
      • Put Power in Your Voice

3. Web conference (one hour in person or via web conference)

  • Review assignment: Discuss the key concepts and why they are critical to your success in securing the right job. 
  • Mock interview and coaching: Video record 3-5 minute interview followed by coaching
  • Assignment: Review the following DVD Chapters (about 45 minutes) 
      • The Pygmalion Method: How to structure a message
      • The Secrets of Building Rapport: How to succinctly ask and answer questions
      • Prepare The Killer 3: Know the answers to the three most important questions you may be asked

4. Web conference (one hour in person or via the web)

  • Review assignment: Discuss the key concepts and why they will help you get the right job.
  • Learn and practice compensation questions and negotiation techniques
  • Mock interview and coaching: Video record 3-5 minute interview followed by coaching
  • Pre and post interview preparation: Learn critical action steps to help you win the job
